Advertising on France For Families

Why advertise on France For Families?  France For Families is a unique website - it is a free online travel guide offering advice on the best of France.  It is targeted at families planning to holiday there, although it is equally applicable to singles and couples as well.  The advice given is based on our personal experience of holidaying and travelling there over a period of more than 20 years.

France For Families has a high ranking on major search engines.   We are returning good search results in Google for gites (Dordogne Gites, Loire Gites, Brittany Gites, Normandy Gites....).  Since the website's launch in April 2004 we have already attracted more than a million unique visitors... our daily average has now climbed to over 2000 visitors per day at the time of writing this page.  See our news page for latest information.

The website is not dormant either.  We are continually adding new content so you can be assured of return traffic time and again.  If you are interested in more information, please send us an email.

What advertising options are available?

1. Free gite link from regional map - send us details of your gite/gites (with a description up to 250 characters long, including spaces) and we will include a link to your external website at no charge.  Please send your details via email.

2. Featured gite advert on regional gites pages - included a photo 160 x 120 plus a 25 word description and a link to your gite's website.  Cost is just £25 per annum.  Please send your details via email.

3. B and B advert on France For Families' Chambres d'Hôtes page - custom design possible to emphasise your key features.  The cost is £30 per annum.  Please send your details via email.

4. 5. If you do not have your own website, France For Families can host a page about your gite or B and B on your behalf (Including 4 photos 160 x 120 pixels, plus unlimited words).  You can opt to add a photo library of 8 additional photos plus unlimited words.  For further information, please send us an email.

France For Families can also provide customised advertising which may include, for example, adverts on our website, specific content relating to a service you may provide, newsletter content etc.  If you have a specific requirement not covered above, please let us know via email.  Thanks!

Please note - we make no charge for "set up" costs!

Feedback from existing advertisers

We believe the best recommendations are those of existing advertisers.  Here are some comments we've received recently:

Mrs DK, Brittany: France for families is great value for money.  You are one of my  biggest referring sites sending over 100 people to my website every week.  Thank you for your very efficient service.

Mr NS, Normandy: I must congratulate you on a very good, value-for-money service.  We had one of the best letting seasons this year (surprising in view of the recession) and most came through you.  I have recommended you to someone else who is now also a subscriber

Mrs AH, Dordogne: We have an advert with you (Chateau de Firbeix) in the Dordogne section and we have been really pleased with the number of visitors you have been sending to our website.

Mr TF, Provence: Just thought you would like to know you are now firmly in our no 1 spot for referrals. 19 click throughs today   from 10  IP addresses.  Next is our own site from the search engines then....

Mrs TS, Languedoc: Yes we definitely want to renew please ASAP!  We are sold out for July and August with 6 families coming each week so we are delighted.  June has some space left (as does September but we’ll deal with that later!) so that is what we need to promote. Great search engine results – well done to all your team.
