Lot-et-Garonne & Tarn Attractions  - spread over a wide area and perhaps overshadowed by its more famous neighbour (the Dordogne), however the region still has plenty to interest you during your holiday, with enchanting towns and villages, spectacular rivers, chateaux, caves and more besides.  Also, although a long way from the sea, there are no shortage of swimming lakes (Base de Loisirs) where you can cool down in those hot summer months.

Airbus Factory

Location: A61/A62 Toulouse périphérique exterieur.  At Jn 3 follow signs for Parc Aéronautique Colomiers.

Description: This is Europe’s largest aeronautical plant where all the massive Airbus planes are assembled.  Tours last around 1.5 hours and are occasionally held in English.
Our recommendations:  It is mandatory to book ahead.  You will need your passport.  No photographic equipment is allowed on site.
For the children: This tour will be of much more interest for older children.  It is now possible to make an extended tour including Concorde.  We recommend that you combine it with a trip to the Space Centre for a great day out.
